Chick-fil-A & Family Point Resources

Greg Kubala, the owner of Chik-fil-A on Dairy Ashford and Kirkwood (A big Supporter of MWE) has nominated Family Point Resources for Chick-fil-A’s True Inspiration Award, and Family Point Resources is 1 of 5 finalists! The organization with the most votes wins $75,000- which would mean so much for FPR. Voting is now through 9/30 on the Chik-fil-A app. It’s very exciting!

Eagle Excellence Campaign

You should have received a flyer on MWE PTA’s Eagle Excellence Campaign in your child’s Friday Folder  this week.  As the flyer states, this will be our ONLY fundraiser for the fall semester: we aren’t selling wrapping paper and art projects or hiring a fundraising company – we are simply having a check writing campaign where 100% of every dollar donated benefits the students, teachers and staff at MWE.

Due to a tough year last year, our fundraising was understandably down 50%.  In an effort to continue funding our amazing programs, (Hands on Science, Field Trips, etc.), we need to receive 100% of all donations.  Just as we reach out to friends and family for fun runs and other fundraisers, we encourage you to do that for this fundraiser as well.  We have made it easy for anyone to donate: you can donate through MSA, online here or by check!

We have made it fun with raffles and incentives for both parents and kids along the way!!!

Meadow Wood Milers

Mark your calendars – MWE MILERS will start Tuesday, September 18th!

This is for 1st to 5th graders at MWE and starts at 7:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Please consider donating a box of snacks (or three), and you will receive a MWE MILERS bracelet. We would LOVE for everyone to be wearing their MILERS bracelets around school!!

You can drop off snacks at the MWE front desk with Mrs. Cox, Christian Thompson’s house or Katy Wood’s house.

What’s MySchoolAnywhere?

MySchoolAnywhere (MSA) is the online directory site used by Meadow Wood Elementary, Spring Forest Middle School, and Stratford High School.  On the MSA Online Store families purchase PTA memberships, Birthday marquee, Eagle Excellence Donations and Spirit Wear.  PTA volunteer opportunities are posted on MSA as well so that parents can log on and volunteer for multiple events at the same time throughout the year.  The MSA app allows you to pull up phone numbers and addresses on your phone with ease, at any time.

As part of our annual “back to school” process we need parents to do 3 things:

  1. review the information we have for your family for the MWE school directory
  2. become a member of our wonderful PTA
  3. consider volunteering – we have a lot of great programs planned this year

If you have any questions regarding MSA, please contact Dawn Muehr at
